Electrical Engineer – Virginia Beach, VA Office

We are seeking a qualified individual that would fill a full time Electrical Engineering position in our Virginia Beach office.  The applicant shall have a minimum of 4 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and have a higher level of understanding of the consulting engineering industry.  The applicant shall have knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software, Microsoft Office, the NEC, and other related building codes and standards. Knowledge of interior and exterior lighting systems, facility power systems, and standby power systems is also required.  Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.), or the ability to obtain registration, and project management experience is preferred.

* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or Engineering Technology)
* Knowledge of building codes and standards
* Understanding of power, lighting, and low voltage systems for buildings
* Experience or understanding of the consulting engineering industry
* Professional Engineer’s License (PE) preferred
* Project management experience preferred
* Proficiency with AutoCAD / Revit Software preferred
