Description:
We are seeking a qualified individual to fill a full time Low Voltage Systems Designer position in our Virginia Beach office. The applicant shall possess experience and understanding of the consulting engineering industry, and demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software, Microsoft Office, NFPA, Virginia Construction Code, and other related codes. Knowledge of low voltage systems, to include fire alarm systems and/or telephone/data/network cabling experience is preferred. Project management experience, an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification, or a Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus. Occasional travel may be necessary.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or Engineering Technology) is a plus
* Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification is a plus
* Professional Engineer (PE) License is a plus
* Proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit design software is preferred
* Understanding of low voltage systems and fire alarm systems for facilities is preferred
