We are seeking a qualified individuals that would fill a full time Mechanical Engineer position for our Virginia Beach or Richmond offices. The applicant will be involved in the design of HVAC systems for various types of federal, state, municipal, and private sector facilities. Examples include but are not limited to office buildings, retail buildings, restaurants, hospitals and other medical facilities, water and wastewater facilities, entertainment venues, museums, libraries, schools, higher education facilities, and multifamily buildings. The applicant shall possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software and Microsoft Office is preferred, but not required.
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Engineering Technology)
* Professional Engineers (PE) License is desirable
* Engineer in Training (EIT) License is a preferred
* Proficiency with AutoCAD / Revit Software
* Proficiency with Trane Trace or HAP commercial HVAC load software.
* Ability to express understanding of HVAC load software
* Experience or understanding of the consulting engineering industry
