This project constructs a new 6-story approximately 85,000 square foot Courtyard by Marriott Hotel. The new facility includes 165 guest rooms on levels 3-5, a ground-floor restaurant and kitchen, along with conference and meeting rooms, and other back-of-house services areas, a second-floor lobby with bar/bistro area, and a rooftop restaurant and bar looking over the airport campus and Norfolk Botanical Gardens, and dedicated parking area. The 165 guest rooms will include the following prototypical spaces: lobby, fitness room, office, guest and staff laundry rooms. The prototype is designed to be fully ADA compliant, to include one (1) hydraulic elevator serving all floors and exit stairs provided at each end of the circulation corridor. A future enclosed and conditioned pedestrian bridge (by others) will connect to the second floor of the hotel to the existing airport terminal building.

The project is currently in the design phase, with construction expected to be completed by late 2026.
