Farmington Country Club, Southside Grill and Poolside Grill Assessment, Charlottesville, Virginia
The Farmington Country Club (FCC) was patented in 1735 and first built upon at some period prior to 1780. The octagonal east wing of the clubhouse was constructed in 1802 near the University of Virginia as an addition to a pre-1780 structure and designed by Thomas Jefferson. The FCC is a full service, family oriented, private club that provides first class facilities, service and innovative programs to members, families, and guests.
This project included an evaluation of the existing system conditions and capacities and to determine if any modifications were required to support an addition or future renovations of the Southside Grill and Poolside Grill areas. Airflow measurements for all HVAC equipment serving the current grills were also performed to determine if the existing systems comply with current codes.
