This project consisted of the rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of the historic Morson’s Row Townhouses originally constructed in 1853. Later additions were added for office space at the rear of the structure. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is located on the Capitol Square in near proximity to the Governor’s Mansion. The three (3) townhomes are to be fully renovated and used as Class A Office Space. An addition was constructed at the building’s rear to connect the three (3) buildings and provide accessible circulation through each building and all levels. The floor areas of the original 1853 structures are approximately 24,500 sq. ft. An historic assessment was performed to determine what other parts of the existing structure were to be retained. The DGS has identified the total existing and new floor area upon completion is to be approximately 25,700 GSF.
