PACE Collaborative provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services for the design of the Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation Administration Building in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The new 28,500 square foot building consolidated several buildings and accommodates 115 employees of the department’s full-time and part-time workers. The building was designed to achieve a LEED certification from the U. S. Green Building Council. Some of the sustainable features of the building include 100% LED light fixtures, geothermal HVAC system, dedicated outdoor air system with total energy recovery, enhanced lighting controls, high efficiency gas water heaters and low flow plumbing fixtures.
